I'm playing CORE 0.50 with the fixpack over AoD 1.o7. When playing as Great Britain, my naval and air units refuse to do anything I tell them. If I place my destroyers on ASW missions, regardless of the time period selected, they just sit in port. The same for air units; my interceptors refuse to get off the ground. I can move them around manually, but not give them orders to go do things on their own, which makes the RN a pain to micromanage, and the RAF useless. Can anyone help?

Has anyone else observerd this?

No. I´ve played as UK and there was no problem performing air superiority missions or naval combat patrols. Sometimes after several hours of playing they stop doing their missions, but this is easily corrected by save and reload.

Do you have a savegame? I'd like to have a look what may cause this.
Very strange.
Where they following their orders on game start or did they never react ?
Some missions may be reserved for wartime though. I never tried to issue those orders in peactime.

Hister: I applied the 1.7 patch, but not the unofficial, maybe that's the problem. I don't recall any mention of it in the install instructions. It should be noted that I played another game as the US, and everything was fine. Also, the checksum is correct.

Denniss: I never gave any units missions until the day the war started. I moved my navies and air assets around manually in the interwar years. If you could give instructions on how to send you the savegame, I'd be happy to share it.

Don't apply the unnoficial patch! I thought maybe you applied it and thus got this unpleasant things. I suppose the unofficial patch is not compatible with CORE.

After spending several hours screwing around with the Windows 7 Virtual Store, I give up. I can't even find the damn savegame files, so I can't send them. Also, I only have a save after the start of the war. My attempts to fix the problem in the game meant my autosaves were overwritten. I'll give CORE another try the next time a new version comes out. Thanks for the help.
