Unknown String Event

i have an event where all it said was "unknown string" and there was a 50% chance of nothing i though, it just said 50%. well, when i clicked it my duchy split from the byz empire. soon after that the game crashed but im not sure if that is connected....



was this posted elsewhere. i wasnt able to find it but i didnt put much effort into finding it.....

sorry i didnt see your post of whatever you were asking. i went back to playing CK for a little longer, as i had luckly saved a little while before that....

I often get an event titled "UNKNOWN STRING WANTED". The first option in "OK" and if I select it a courtier dies. The second option is "UNKNOWN STRING WANTED" and if I select it the courtier gains 10 prestige. This certainly happened because the game installed in German language and then I applied English patches. Can someone tell me what these "UNKNOWN STRINGS" are supposed to be so I can edit them manually?

What version you have Lord Grave? There shouldn't be any problems with that one.

I installed the latest stable patch first, then I installed the latest beta. Let me find them...it's 104a first, then 104b from 2004-10-15. I also installed Solmyr's mods SMACK v3 and Expanded 1066.

Latest beta is 15-08-2005. Last post in the beta patches thread (or actually the one before the last, but last is essential too). Please apply that and report back if the problem persists.
