Jams and Game Crashes

I have experianced some annoying and frustrating things while playing Eu Recently.

I have version 1.10 and the latest version of the IGC patched.

When I play the Grand Campaign the game flashes off everynow and then which is really annoying. When i try to load up the game it still crashes to desktop. Also occasionly the game just jams outright!

Can anyone please help me as I just want to get back on to conquering the World! ( with the English of course!)

check the running problems thread on top of the forum.

Flashing problems are caused either by bad video drivers or your network card. if you have network card, try disabling it.

Strange  how can a network card effect eu?

Someone reported earlier that upon changing his network card, the game was running fine.

How it affects the game, I do not know, but here is what I know: If I try to play EU while connected on the internet, I get a flickering screen on my system.

I haven't pushed the investigation however as I don't usually play MP.

I would love to play eu on multiplayer but i only have 56k modem, I have a local area network but my brother has no interest in eu my sister does but she doesnt live here.:(

well, it's slow, but it's not that bad as I heard.

If one of the player has a fast connection, ask him/her to be the "host"; it will be faster this way.
