I've gotten myself into a bit of a situation. I had a border system. It contained a colony, a citadel, a dyson swarm, my research nexus and a habitat I was in the process of colonizing. It also had a pre warp civ in it. RNG rolled the dice, and they got the robot rebellion, which they lost. So I lost control of the system. No big deal, swoop in and subjugate the robots....or so I thought. My citadel was still mine and wrecked the station before my fleet even arrived. Invaded my colony and the homeworld of the AI no problem. The habitat however was still in the process of being colonized. While I was waiting that out, one of my federation members swoops in and starts bombarding the habitat. And now it's in an infinite delay, as the colonization can't finish and is always one year away. War fatigue keeps ticking up. Once that's full, the war will end in a status quo, and I will have to wait 10 years to declare war again.
