Sorry about the late update! This week has passed so fast, I thought it was Wednesday today... Anyway, here goes!

Forum speed
We have now done the last maintenance fixes on the forum servers for a while. Now we will observe the results. I will probably set up another poll to get your feeling on the speed in a week or so.

Heir to the Throne
The new patch has been release, and some people have a bit of trouble with it. It is most likely due to the fact that we upgraded our visual studio to version 2010 which changed a few parameters. What you need to do if you can't start it is to right click the exe (not the launcher) and choose "run as administrator". Or copy the install folder and put it outside of program files.

Cities in Motion
The second part of the closed beta started yesterday, which means the game is one step closer to release! Thank you all who signed up for it, we appreciate that you want to help us make this game great.

Forum does seem faster. However, DeepOceanEdited is now completely messed up. The best way I can describe it is if all tables were converted to plain text.

Refresh should clear that up, or clear your cache.

Nope, sorry! That is reserved for moderators and a few selected others, most of which have done some work for us.

Just my 2¢, but if someone has made a major mod that merits its own subforum, then that should count as having "done some work for" Paradox. The best mods add value and longevity to the games, and are certainly a contributing factor to why I keep buying Paradox games.

The problem is that there are a lot of people who have really big mods, and as the forum is set up currently, I have to add all custom avatars by hand. I just don't have time for that. Community Manager is not my full-time job here at Paradox. I do agree though.
