I really want to get in to modding but updating files to the workshop is making it feel like a chore.
Is anyone else having a problem with this?
1st Problem
I created my first workshop asset (a park) for the game a couple of days ago and realised a tree was causing issues and decided to remove it. As I was having issues with the update I consulted a guide. I subscribed to my own mod and removed the .crp file from the users/.../assets folder. I edited the subscribed file and saved it. Then reopened it to make sure the save worked and closed again without saving. Then I went to the content manager clicked the UPDATE button and changed the workshop image.
The image changed on the workshop but when i reopened the file in Asset Editor the tree I had removed was back in my local file. I tried this process a couple of times but each the the tree came back. I assume this means that the workshop item was unchanged and my local file was updated. Is the update of the .crp file working in reverse?
In the end I figured it would be faster to delete my item and repost it to the workshop. This sucked
2nd Problem
I created a second mod (an intersection) last night and decided I want to change the thumb image on the workshop. In the content manager there is no longer an UPDATE button on my mods. Only a SHARE button on both.
I am subscribed to both of my own assets and I have no files in my Assets folder.
