Upgrade / Uninstall issue

hi folks

i installed doomsday into a subfolder of the rootgame, and later reinstalled it to a new spot.

Unfortunately, when i try and update, it 'updates' the original location, so i cant update

I have tried uninstalling the original, but it gives me 'Catastrophic Error -Core Component Failure' right after the install starts. Removing Doomsday and reinstalling hasnt helped. Reinstalling the original (using 'repair') and then trying to remove also still gives the same error.

So -I need to manually wipe the relevent registry entries (unless someone has another idea?) - besides entries for 'Paradox' and 'Hearts of Iron2' are there others I need to track down?

no dice

did everything there - and the dd13a still installs to the OLD directory.

there is something somewhere in the registry that has to be wiped.

Can't you choose the install path on the main install-wizard screen? Just browse for the path you want? You can with Armageddon.

Another option is to simply move the existing DD folder to the spot where the installer expects it to be, then update, then move it back to the place where you actually want it to be. Clunky, but it should work.
