I know people have been having problems with the Reconstruciton event triggering in their USA games.
It's unlikely that it's a bug since the sequence of events leading up to the reconstruction event is sound.
However, there's a problem with timing. (imho)
the 'election of 1864' event only triggers when the CSA is still at war with the US in 1864 (logical), but I think most people manage to end the ACW well before that time. So the event doesn't trigger.
as a result the 'lincoln_re-elected' tag stays at 0, instead of being 1
because of that the 'Lincoln assasinated' event cannot trigger
and because of that the 'Reconstruction' event doesn't appear to be triggering. (tried it via the console and it said 'event 14181 didn't trigger').
So maybe a 3rd 'election 1864' event is in order? One that gets Lincoln re-elected in case the ACW is over? It would allow, I think, event 14181 to happen and as a result event 14182 too.
