Greetings.
I not new for factory building games i played Techtonica, Satifactory and Dyson sphere program. I played more than 48 hours in Foundry and found few issues that make me dissatisfied in this game.
1) Balancer. This is very frustrating, the load balancer is a nice feature, but if replacing the conveyor splitter is really a pain, then you need a split conveyor so that part of the flow goes sideways, and part of the flow directly has to be bypassed along the conveyor in the desired direction.
Suggestion: Allow switching through the menu to separator mode (1 input - 3 outputs)/balancer. It would also be nice to add different splitter states, for example, all outputs on the same level, input (bottom-top) - output from below, and 2 from above or rotated by 90 degrees.
2) inclined conveyor. The problem is if you have 2 belts one on top of the other and you need both of them to move up/down. The collision doesn't allow a second one to be placed above it because the collision model expects there to be a base underneath, even though visually there isn't.
Suggestion: fix collision detection or just remove foundation under diagonal belt.
3) Many buildings have many pipe in/out ports configured according to a recipe, but sometimes this causes confusion because the port selected in the recipe is not the most convenient for connection.
Suggestion: Allow to configure its in/out ports via device display.
4) Drilling is fun at the beggining but soon it becomes tireson cause you can drill only one block at time and it consumes alot of time in later game. Explosives is not option cause it destroys too much and you want beutiful tunnel it takes too much time.
Suggestion: Add new tool that would allow to dig 2*2, 3*3 and 4*4 squres at time
