so... >_> apparently my user_empire_designs.txt file is broken

anyway to recover my empires without having to create them from scratch within the game?


I tried a manual edit of the starting government to a custom made... stellaris didnt like that D:
reverting the change didn't recover the rest of my empires D:

Did you add something from a mod that was later removed?

Easy fix though.
Backup your old file, start game, create a quickie custom empire that's mostly the same, exit, copy across your old values to the new file.
