Hello,

Ok i test your MOD. Played on normal/normal. Checksum LXES. Played Germany and attack on the historical days (like 10 may 40, 6 april 41 and 22 juni 41)

Also i did not build any IC, and round the date of 3 aug 41, i have so 215 landforces (161 INF, 1 CAV, 8 MOT, 12 ARM, 3 PAR, 3 MAR, 23 MTN and 5 HQ)

Airforce 120 (20 FTR, 24 INT, 21 CAS, 51 TACT, 4 TRA)

Naval 50

IC 689/437
---------------------------
USSR AI Round the date of 3 aug 41 they have 151 DIV, Naval 229 (what the heck they need so big navy for?) , Airforce (0!!!!!!!, what the heck)

IC 340/209

---------------------------

Right now ive conquered Leningrad, Stalingrad and almost Moscow. Also i did use nofog (only for this report, in normal game i did not use it) to see where the rest of the army of USSR is. From the line Moscow Stalingrad, Baku they have no divisions behind that line (except some near Vladivostok.

I did not do gamey tactics, I push the USSR back from the whole front line, and pocket them in Pripet area.

I also did save and reload ever 6 months and during the war even once a month.

My conclusion is that the MOD is great with the TECH tree and events, but the AI is not even close like TRP or WIF.

Also weird outcome of Yugoslavia. I attack them from north, Hungary and Rumania. They did choice the surrender event and i choice to demend total surrender. But i was still in war after that with them. Even when all victory points and caiptal were under control of the Axis, Rumania didnt annex Yugo.

I had to do this manually.

Or was this just bad luck??? That the AI USSR is so weak?

Ok hope u dont' see this as negative post, because your MOD is very nice and have great potential.

Greetings,

We've balanced the AI in such a way that a hands-off game (AI vs AI) will go approximately historical, quite a challenge in itself. Usually an experienced human player will be able to outdo the AI though, there's only that much of an 'intelligence' we can give it without resorting to cheats and such. So if you're finding it a little too easy to outclass the AI, just up the difficulty settings. You might be outdoing the Russkies on N/N, but on higher difficulty it's quite a different cup of tea based on player feedback...

On the other hand, the reason why Germany has almost twice more IC than Russia has is because it conquers a lot of IC from the Low Countries and France. IIRC the ratios for non-national and non-owned IC have been dropped a bit for the next version.

Ok next time i will try the highest difficulty level, but what about the setting how the AI reacts? Also on the highest level or leave that on normal?

I still wonder how it comes that USSR have so big navy and that their airforce is gone.

Well in part a naval buildup is triggered by non-historical naval builds of other nations, like yourself. Dec knows the intricates of the system though - I'm hardly the AI expert...

Hi,

The RW USSR built a lot of submarines and the SOV AI is also going to build some as well. However, most of the SOV fleet is there from game start. OTOH, I'd assess that you are kind of light on Naval forces and overbuilt on Air. This probablly helped you beat the SOV. I too would suggest that experienced players up the difficulty settings as we haven't given the AI any advantages and it is always a bit dumb.

Same thing happened for me with Republican Spain. I declared war on the Republlicans and captured the eastern coast and Barcelona for use of a port for attacking the middle east. Invited the nationalists into my alliance. We got all of republican spain's VPs, and they didn't annex them for over 2 years (I couldn't annex because I didn't control madrid).
