I recently played a 3 player game with UK , Germany, and USSR. My question is how can I get the USSR leave its alliance to join with the allies? Is it possible without tampering with the files?

The only time the Commintern dissolves is an unholy alliance, which, btw - screws up the USSR nicely (dissent, etc...)

If u are a big power being in an allaince does not do much good. Only if Russia is allied with the Allies before WWII actually starts, this might make the Axis think a bit longer about going to war.
Only small power benifit from alliances, thats why I ask for small allainces to be allowed. i.e. Sweden Norway and Finland might actually be able to carry a bit more weight.
