I was fighting an empire for a very long time and was losing. An empire that has a protective opinion of mine decided to jump in and defeat the empire I was at war with. I then proceed to rebuild and declare war again to finish off the hostile empire, but that drags the protective empire who had conquered one of their planets into the war against me...

I should also mention that during the first war my war goals were to liberate two planets. After the protector AI won the war the planets were automatically liberated. Is that suppose to happen when the war goals were not associated with their war with the protecting empire or do all wars involving the same parties get meshed into one war and take all those war goals with them?
