My game has crashed! My computer is equipped with a 9700X CPU and a 9070XT GPU, and the game was working fine before. For the purpose of setting my computer to UEFI format, I reinstalled the system. After reinstalling the system(win11 profession), Victoria 3 has never been able to run successfully. Sometimes it crashes before entering the game, and sometimes it crashes after entering the game’s main menu when selecting a country on the map. The crash logs repeatedly mention failures in loading shaders and generating graphics. To solve this, I have taken the following measures:

1. Deleted the game's shader files and reopened the game to let it reload the shaders.
2. Completely uninstalled the game and the graphics card drivers, then installed the latest graphics card drivers and the game.
3. Disabled all mods.

However, after multiple attempts, Victoria 3 still fails to start, but I can successfully start other games like Hearts of Iron 4 and Call of Duty, so this might not be a graphics card issue. Please, technician, help me.

Hello.

In regards to your error.log with entry 'GetDeviceRemovedReason' I found some posts, e.g. this (link) or this (link, in German, around post #11: OK, HIER IST DIE LÖSUNG, DIE BEIDE PROBLEME FÜR MEIN SYSTEM GELÖST HAT), where it states that after disabling XMP RAM profile (deactivate XMP) in your PC's BIOS it worked again.

It's worth a try.
