Valkyrienet (without firewall)

I do not use a fire wall but cannot connect to the Valkyrie net.

My computers are set-up in a local network. I tried to connect on Valkyrie net from both a terminal and the server computer. No way it work.

I use ADSL.

Could you help me?

Is it possible that you were trying to connect during one of the brief periods when vNet was down?

I think I'll move this thread over to the MP forum as there are some folks over there who are more familiar with this sort of thing.

Edit: LOL! Castellon and I tried to move it simultaneously...produces some interesting vB side effects.

Go into your HoI directory. Find the file HoI_Settings.exe Make sure the valkyrienet server is set to 'europa.valkyrienet.com'

after test

ok my reference is good I check it

but when I try connecting for the first time after reboot, the game cradh then when I restart the game I can go to the multiplayer board without crashing. When trying to connect to Valkyrie net he said that connection is not possible and to check my internet connection;

My computer due to the intranet do have an internal IP and an external Ip which are differnet. Can it be link to that. 5but sure that no firewall is install).

This might be a dumb answer, as it sounds like you all connect through a single computer, but are you using a router that has a built in firewall? That's what was wrong with mine.

Our system is simple and there are no Firewall according to the administrator.
