Hey there!

I have this problem:

I have built my very first CS building asset and want to add some props to it. I placed some plant props in front of the house, and some in the backyard. After saving and doing a complete new program start, half of the props won't show up ingame. To be precisely: only the props I have placed in front of the building are being loaded. The ones I placed at the backside of the building don't show up.

- My building sits on a 4 X 4 cell with plenty of room in each direction.

- I only use vanilla props, such as plants, deck chairs, sunshades and lights.

- All props are sitting on elevated planes at different heights. So I thought that might be an issue, but the props in front of the house are also placed on elevated planes and yet they are fine ingame.

- All props are sitting within the 4 x 4 cell grid.

So what am I missing here?

Could a mod be causing trouble?

Any help will be appreciated! o7

What's the lot size that's shown in the Properties panel on the right? All growables can spawn 4 tiles deep, but they may not have that as their lot size. A 2x2 growable for example can spawn as a 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4 lot. In the editor you will see all 4 tiles deep so they can be decorated for those cases where it might spawn with the extra tiles.

I have figured out what went wrong. Somehow the pivot point in Maya was accidently moved a bit to the side. So I assume the back part of the building space was cut off after importing the mesh into the asset editor. All works fine now. Thank you. :)
