Vassal contract will reset if you go from vassal to ruler back to vassal

Description​

Say you're a vassal of the HRE, you have a great contract, you're elected emperor. You die and your heir is not elected because you never wanted to rule the HRE. You're back to being a duke under the HRE, but your heir will have a vassal contract reset to baseline. This should not be.
