If Hungary is a vassal to Austria and yet they are not allies, does it mean that I can declare war on Turkey and cross into Hungary, engage the Turks, and then retreat into Hungary and they can't follow me? Like Hungary could be the KFOR zone of EU for me?

OK another. I am Venice and the Knights are my vassals. I go to war with Turkey and sink some ships. Can I retreat to the Knight's port in Rhodes and weather the storm from Turkey there?

Yet another. I am Hungary and Georgia is my Vassal. Can I send a bunch of troops there in ships and vacation on the sunny shores of the Black Sea before attacking... Turkey? And then after I attack and decide to retreat, can I receive shelter in Georgia without the Turks following me into Georgia?

You cannot enter another countys territory unless:
a) You at war with it.
b) You're allies in the same war against someone else.

Stefan

I see. OK, but I am allowed to cross Vassal territory am I not? Even in times of peace?

Then couldn't I cross my vassal's territory and engage my enemy while my vassal is not allied with me?

If so, then can I retreat into my vassal and have it serve as sanctuary?

Stefan: If this wasn´t changed without me noticing, You can freely roam the territory of Your vassal. (Not sure about ports, though). In my last game as Turkey I could always use my vassal Wallachia (not at war) to make a shortcut to Hungary...

Also, don´t forget the HRE exception ... ;)
And lastly, armies can now return home after a peace was concluded crossing the territory of an ally if needed.
