Well, as the title says, my vassals are randomly breaking free of my rule, even though non-rebellious, at 100 relationship, 100 loyalty and 0 Reputation... is there an event they get? Because if so, they seem to get it a whole bunch of times...

Someone need specifics for this question to be answered? Because if so, I can give them.

Realm duress is the most likely explanation.

Yeah, I thought so too. But the thing is that I don't have Realm Duress. I barely have any Rebellious vassals either... it's all just so... weird.

Do you hold the title that fits to your vassals county? e.g. are you King of Germany when your vassal is the Duke of Bavaria? If not the chance that your vassal might declare for his "rightful" liege is larger.

And of course you do use the latest patch for Crusader Kings- Deus Vult?

Yep, and yep! Those vassals that break free belong to a land I'm entitled to, and I do have the latest patch installed, as well as that DVIP mod people keep talking about. Any clue? Is the number of Vassals noteworthy? The vassal's prestige? Or anything else of note?

The more vassals you have the higher the risk.
The more Duke titles you hold, instead of giving them away, the higher the risk. Hold less than 4.
Having bad traits is bad.
Different cultures.
Prestige

This is mor or less for the realm disruption event

The DVIP Break free is about wrong region, religion, culture, different government, rivalry (if 2 of those apply it may happen).
Bishophs are rather loyal and direct count vassals.
Having high diplomacy is important (liege min 9, chancellore min 12)

If you dont want that event to happen, go to events.txt and put an # before the line of the event
For more questions post in the DVIP thread in MOD forum.

Oh... so I guess my 240+ vassals must be an issue then... as are my 6 duchy titles (of which 5 are former Tribes)... And different culture, religion, etc... Well, I think I've found the trouble then! Thanks everyone!
