Is the brightess final? I wouldnt like to play this game as if there is night all the time

There is a huge red message in right lower corner of the screenshot saying something about not being representative of final quality or something like that... How can you estimate darkness of map upon seeing a single screenshot that's zoomed out? In fact the difference between sun and no sun is quite visible.
It is, but the time where is sun is still awfully dark, where there is night time it looks good
