I have just started playing DD with DAIM. I started one GC 36 as Germany on N/A and than quit in 1940 beacuse I could see it was too easy and have started another in H/A and am in the Spring of 1940. Both times I conquered France in Oct 1939.
I have notice 2 odd things. First, the UK DoWs Vichy within a month of the Vichy event. This must be a DAIM modifications but I do not know the advantage for the UK. As Germany this helps me because Vichy immediately becomes my ally. They then can give me a few useful blueprints and now I have more beach troops. But more importantly, in the second game, they have a very strong surface navy fleet (1 CV, 6 BB, 2 BC and numerous CLs/DDs) which makes Sealion very possible in 1940 (I have my original fleet with some new DD-4s and my first 3 CV-4s out in July). How does this help the UK and make it more challenging for Germany?
Secondly, in both games Vichy has 2 Navs but they are Nav-3's (1943 tech) but the do not have the Nav-2 blueprint to trade. Is this a bug and is this DAIM or DD and I never noticed (I never allied with Vichy in vanilla)?
