Hi, I follow the steps from the error fixed from this post:
However the crash is still happening due to
Error: "Failed to read key reference: autonomous_investment_pool: autonomous_investment_pool, near line: 1" in file: "" near line: 1

It happens from the version 1.7.1 to 1.7.5 tome, and I would like to know how to solve this problem.

this is the links I follow from the solution :
"Right click on victoria3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.
Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60."

but does not work

Might be outdated mods and outdated player rule set/save
Error itself is harmless (old save or ruleset).
Reinstall game, remove mods, also you can delete everything in C:\Users\"username"\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Victoria 3
You can keep saves and mod folder, as its where saves and mods are located.

Later ones are graphical errors indicating corrupt install/outdated mods. Update drivers and ensure that game uses dedicated GPU.

Everyone gets those errors, they are nothing to do with your crashes most likely.

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here. IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up. Thanks.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/pdx_settings.json .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , exceptions.txt

For this, I do not have a mod, have done reinstall the game and delete everything in the paradox interactive.

I don't see a cause of this problem in those files. Is this the Steam, MS/gamepass or other edition?

Are these crashes during play? After one, can you restart the game and reload thats ave and carry on? Or does it always crash at that point?

This is the steam edition, It was crashing after playing the game for 10 to 30 minutes. And now it always crash when opening save game file or start a new nation. I can not restart the game since it crash after starting a nation.

Please do a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Vic3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Victoria3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add Victoria3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Victoria3 or Documents Victoria3 locations, before installing again.

If that still doesn't help, can I get new copies of all those files from above please.

Then try running victoria3.exe directly from File Explorer - what happens then?

Okay, pretty clearly a graphics/video issue now. Which should obviously not be the case with that Nvidia 4060!

Whether that is an issue with that driver installation, or Windows, or the game I am not sure; although you'd think if it was the game everyone would get it.

Let's start with the driver:

- uninstall it https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool
- reboot
- do a fresh install https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/228213/en-us/
- reboot again
- if GeForce Experience is now running, unload it

Now try the game again, just with victoria3.exe ought to do. IF you still get all those DX11 errors, try this windows repair tool:

Good luck!
