I hereby propose foundation of a Victoria 3 subforum, by the idea of you have no idea for victoria 3, and the "champion" may be be just in the community.

I also propose opening stellaris up for discussion in our own threads in order to be able to give you ideas we may find popular.

A Victoria 3 subforum certainly will not happen before it is announced, but there are already threads around for posting ideas and such.

Stellaris will probably open up for discussion around the first developer diary or something.
 
What do you mean by champion? Vicky is well loved by PDS. They've already said that they've brainstormed ideas for Vicky 3, but that the people who would work on it are currently busy with other projects. Give it some time.

They said that there is no concept for a victoria 3 yet, thus they need a "champion" who will break the ice and brings something they can work with. Literally, they dont know how to make it better than vicky 2 other than the compulsory better AI and similar tweaks. Yet.
 
The community will never be the champion for a game, and opening a forum has a risk of it fizzing out and hindering later announcements. Mild risk for no benefit.

That should have probably been "it has no internal team member that isnt busy with other projects championing ideas for development". Both me and Wiz love Victoria for example but are fiendishly busy with other stuff.

Dont worry there is a secret word document with design several people have been adding stuff to even since HoD was half-way done. We'll get around to a Vicky eventually.

I want Vicky 3 more than, (or at least as much as), anyone else, but the idea of a subforum for a non-existent, unannounced game seems absurd to me.
