AFAIK there's no demo.
Whether it's worth it or not depends entirely on how much you want it. Given that you're posting the question several months before Vicki 2 will be released, and that to buy both you'd have to spend $25 (just Viki would be $15); I'd say you should probably buy them now.

I would recommend it I just bought it 2 weeks ago, of course I used the 200K discount, but the complete back was definitely worth it. The complete pack is actually $20 on Gamersgate.
