I have victoria for a few months now and everething was working correctly. Tomorrow I played a nice game as Prussia. Now this evening I am trying to start the game, but when I execute victoria.exe it tells me that it can't find db/provinces.csv and CTD's. But when I use my windows explorer and go to that location the file is there, so what's the matter? I didn't change anything since tomorrow so I have no idea what's wrong.
Any chance you were trying one of the patches? If you let us know which version you are using it may give a clue as to what to look for.
One thing that I can say from personal experience is that on one occassion I was running 103b on one computer but had yet to update another computer in the same room so I could run a speed test on a hands-off... Since it was 3 am I was not thinking too clearly and used the 103b patch without first installing the base patch! Doh! Sure won't start up right if you do that, let me tell you!
