Anyone else who doesn't really care for new core mechanics and just wants good ol' Vicky to be remastered in the new engine?

Also improving QoL (troop stack management PLEASE). Maybe get rid of the god awful infamy mechanic.
 
I guess you are talking about Victoria II since it was a huge improvement over Ricky.

Honestly, considering all the issues Victoria II had and the limited impact of improved graphics plus a patch would bring to the game, I really PDX will invest time in this kind of project.

Also, Victoria III ( and DLC) have a much higher potential both from a business perspective and from an artistic one compared to a remaster.

Finally, Victoria II is still an enjoyable game (in particular with mods) and the graphic are not that awful (they also don't matter as much as in a RPG for example).
