Ok, I havent played multiplayer before, and I am behind a firewall. I have already read the other threads and opened the proper ports... 47624, and 2300-2400. I also tried 23000-24000 since there were some people who said that is the right range.
I still get the same error msg... hit multiplayer, vnet, and a message about not connecting to the mainserver, your not conencted to the internet. I have no other software firewalls and I know my port forwarding works correctly. Any ideas what could be the problem? Maybe by some coincidence the vnet server is down??

It will most likely come back up in less than a week.
