Vs.1.08:
While a window stating a declaration of war vs. the player is open, another member of the player alliance get's a dow from a different country. I don't get the question to honor the alliance, although the other alliance members do.
If I reload the game and manage to click the first dow away before the second against my ally happens, I get it, too.

This is in MP, right? If so, I can't dupe it; can anyone else confirm this behaviour?

No, it happened in SP.
to clarify:
I'm playing Cologne, allied with France and Kleve.
Austria dows me, I let the window stay open.
Saxony dows Kleve, France honors the alliance, I'm not even asked to.
France and Kleve are now in war vs. Saxony. They are still in my alliance. I didn't lose stab or relations nor did they get a CB on me for not helping.

When I reload and close the window reporting Austria's dow before Saxony declares war on Kleve, I will get asked by Kleve to honor the alliance as usual.

Ah, I see, this known bug then:

159 : Type: Game Logic | Status: CONFIRMED | Severity: MINOR
If your alliance enters a war without you, and then is declared war upon by another state before you have time to join the first war, you will never get the option to join the second war, which will be fought entirely without you. Thread 128695
Reported In: 1.03 | Correction planned In : | Corrected In :

Probably needs to be more clearly stated though. Something like:

"If your alliance enters a war, and before you join in that war your alliance is declared war upon by another state, you will never get the option to join the second war, which will be fought entirely without you. In other words only one DoW decision at a time can be presented to the player."

A not entriely fail save way of getting round this problem: Set the message of a DOW to pause the game.

Doesn't work if the two dow are at the same time (that's rare though)
