I would really love to. But i´m still too young. Maybe in a few years there´s a position as history researcher (or maybe scripter) for me. ;)

And from the POV of a gamer: This sounds like a sixth (i think ? ) team being made. -> VicIII confirmed. ;)
 
Call me if you ever need someone to come up with large groundbraking ideas that are not feasible in reality.
Ill give you one just for free: a MMO GSG space game that is linked to a FPS game (developed by the Battlefield crew), what happens in one game affects the other, both exist in the same persistent "game universe"

I've asked for a position as tea-boy but due to what I can only presume is a cataclysmic string of administrative errors, they still haven't hired me.

Tell you what, hire me, get Lynchy at no extra cost. Do we have ourselves a deal?

I would like to, i know my way around paradox files, i know how events and decisions work and so on but i have never done anything more than modifying the files like editing start dates, or stuff like assimilation speed of cultures (vicky2) (which is nothing big, because those are only few numbers that have to be changed). But im fast learner and i like these kind of stuff, so if you figure something out there i am willing to do something.

Scones (pronounced to rhyme with 'stones'), silver teapots, that weird white butter yis have in Sweden, you can have it all. I'll even serve things that I don't know what they are, like Julmust, fussenbruggen and a rich, steamy bowl of holdesvargenkaldjorgenkquist. But as part of the bargain I need to be given complete and unquestioned authority over the creative direction of all of PDS' activities. Plus Lynchy gets free reign in the UK politics thread. Do we have a deal?

One question I've always wanted to ask, since this already happened in the past if I'm not mistaken, is why some job announcement are in English while others are in Swedish.
Initially I thought this was due to the fact that for some of those jobs Swedish was mandatory, but if Google Translate is not betraying me ( :p ) it appears that applications should be sent in English even for these job positions.

Would anyone be so kind to enlighten me? :)
 
I imagine it is because the company is located in Sweden, so they are probably going to get more applications from that country than anywhere else. It makes sense to have an ad for the local country, and another for international.
 
Well, I can't even program a pop-up window with "hello" on it, but do you need someone for the localization? Just saying, the Spanish translation of PDS games has consistently been quite seriously bad :p. Everyone I know plays it in English even if they barely speak English, because at least if you don't understand something it's YOUR fault.

A text-heavy game where the narration needs to be good and rich to keep you immersed such as Runemaster, done by whoever localizes PDS games to Spanish now... honestly, it would be terrible :S

I wonder whether this would lead to you streaming at sensible times, or not streaming anymore at all... hm...

In any case it would obviously be a very smart move by Paradox.
