War Damages

Now this is marvelous game, but every day a new bugger of a query comes my way!

Today is....Countries seem happy to agree war damages irrespective of what they can afford and actually pay! Is it just a case of hoping they pay the full amount?

Yup They can only pay as much as they have and won't take out loands to get to the amount u asked.

On the flip side, if you offer to pay (i.e, they don't ask you but you want to end the war and pay them off to do so) you wind up taking a loan if you don't have the 250 D, right?

No, you just pay the 3D in your bank too.

IF they ask 250 ducats and u ain't got those, u'll take out a loan when accepting. Usually they just ask for whatever u got in ur coffers, like 3 ducats

But if three or four of them ask for 3D and thats all you have got, and you accept all the peace offers then yes, you take out a loan.
