So I've noticed that there is a huge amount of titular king level titles, seemingly one for every high lordship in Westeros at least.

Does this mean that there might be a future update with a new start date set when Westeros was split between a hundred kingdoms instead of seven?

Or is this just for the possibility of the Iron Throne not only falling apart, but then the individual kingdoms following afterwards, allowing any independent high lord to declare themselves king?

It's the latter.

It's the latter.

Thanks. Do you know of any way to make that happen? I've found it nearly impossible for Westeros to split apart into the seven kingdoms, to say nothing of them themselves splintering.

There is a sub-mod on their citadel forum that add event disbanding all titles above count-level at the start of the game.

Do you have a link?

It seems to be a bit outdated, though... Does anyone know if it still works with the new version?

I can test it out.
