Wasteland Off; Game Rules option?

Could we have a "Turn Wasteland off" in the game rules section?

I really enjoy playing in Africa; But the huge amount of wasteland drives me crazy. I know its not fully realistic; and that the coloring system has helped a lot. But I still would love to be able to just turn wasteland off.

And what do you want instead of? Huge provinces to colonize in hot sand deserts or on the top of mountains ?

Sounds like what you're after is a mod. There are plenty which does exactly what you want. Really, there should be more wasteland than there is already.

While map changes are frequent in EU4, making the wastelands of Africa habitable is not something we'll be doing. Self-modding or finding an existing mod would be the answer for you.
