I can't hold myself, while I patiently wait Vicky 1.03, HoI 1.06 and EU2 1.08 (in this order :D ).

Paradox could give us little tinybits of amusement. Someone in the Beta-forum must have been working in an AAR, publish it here!!! At least an edited version, with some screenshots. :)

Please...

Id love to see Beta AAR'S as well :D especialy 1 AAR about one of the German Principality's or Dynasties :p with screenies, it be so nice.... oh well I cna only carry on dreaming I gues for now any way.

I'd also like a beta AAR, but frankly I think it's too early to get any. Paradox usually waits untill much later in the development-phase before they release any AARs you know, just look at Vickie.:)

Disagree.

Time used for an AAR could be time for writing event code and testing, testing, testing.

More testing, more proofing, more development, please spend energy there.

A development update would be nice, AAR I can live without.

You're no fun. :p But I guess you're right. :) So no Beta AARs before you have almost completely finished the game, Paradox!

AAR are done by the BETAS, not the Developers. One thing doesnt have nothing with the other.

OH YEAH!!!! It would be great if a Beta could provide an AAR on CK - hope it happens so we can get a feel for the game.............that and allow us to track down the Beta testers* & force them to let us play CK

Jono

*by reading this post, reader agrees not to track down any Beta testers, I'm just kidding (unless they agree to send me a copy of the game, of course - lol)

Yes, and BETAS test the game. Developers take the BETAS information and make more developments based on the tests. One compliments the other, and thats what they should be doing, testing and development.

Probably a bit early just now for a beta AAR; I imagine they're still working out an issue or 10. But once things are closer to, it is a great way (for me at least) to convince us potential customers that we're willing to spend any amount of money to get the game -- the Diario de Mexico AAR had me hooked on Vic well before it was available (or I could afford it).

They prob won't...but I would also be extremely happy...but I buy the game either way..so they got me by the balls...*sigh*...if only I had the game now..I could laugh in the face of the god himself...

A beta providing an AAR would be violating NDA...not a good thing to do. ;)

Patience, young jedi. :)

What I mean was authorized by the Paradoxians.

And I have to admit that I lean toward the DARK path, cause patience is not among my priorities.

Sith all the way!!!

Okay well I feel dumb asking this but... what's an AAR? (after action report?)

After Action Report it is indeed.

And it's better to ask and look ignorant rather than not asking and remain ignorant. :) (not that you do)

Depending on a writer, an AAR may be anything from an event log of a game to an epic story, describing the events in a game. Basically, it describes your decisions, victories, defeats etc.

And, judging from Paradox policy on earlier games, there will be an AAR when the time is right. ;)
