weather mapmode?

Hi, I'm new to this game and I have a problem. When I click 'weather mapmode' on the left of the mini-map, nothing happens. All mapmodes work, but when I click weather mapmode I can't see the weather. (I know how it should be for I saw screenshots of the mapmode). Does anybody know the solution to this?

if its good weather all over then you wont see anything , does anything happen after awhile ?? , you are the first one to complain over no weater

Well, it works now. I downloaded the latest patch I could find on the official hearts of iron site, wich was 1.04. But on the paradox website I found 1.06 and everything works fine...
