Much as I do like Deeper Understanding it was only back in July that it last won, which seems too recent for another gong.

In any event, congratulations indeed @Von Acturus as your work remains excellent and I continue to very much enjoy one of the few anthology type threads on the board.

@Revan86 : Do you want another go at nominating your successor?

If there is no answer from Revan86 or he has failed to nominate an eligible candidate on Wednesday 4/10 14h00 CEST: Open for nomination (and open immediately if Revan86 answers negative to the above question before that time, of course).

Indeed, thank you very much for the nod @Revan86 it's high praise coming from a great narrative writer such as you, but I'm afraid that it's not yet due my time in the limelight again.

Uffda. My bad. I'm sorry, I haven't been keeping track of the Weekly Showcase winners as well as I ought to have done, clearly.

Having checked back to make sure this one hasn't been nominated recently: I am going to nominate @Falhxer's AAR Rise and Fall of the Imperium of Nova Terra. Even though it is a bit more history-bookish than the narrative fare I usually go for, the prose is descriptive, concise and clear, and the story is gripping. I've been keeping an eye on it for a while and I think it deserves some recognition now.

It's been a little more than a week since our last winner. Shall we get this ride moving again?

@Falhxer: You up to announce a successor soon?
Oh right, my apologies. I will let you guys choose, sadly I have only time to focus on writting my own AAR and post chapters once in a while. As much I would like to nominate a successor, I haven't been able to propely read any AARs unfortunately.

Belated congrats to @Falhxer !

I'd like to nominate Rolexovsky's Forlorn Hope - A Germany Endsieg AAR for Darkest Hour, a very well-played and entertaining read. It's nice to see people keeping the older games alive!
