Weird colonization thing

ok i was playing watk as england and it was about 1430 and i had beaten the french in the 100 years war while annexing the small 1 province countrys i forced the french into a vassalage , and then i get a explorer and a conquistador is this normal?

It is odd. You shouldn't be getting explorers and conquistadors (as England) until roughly 1495.

No European countries get them until the 1480's or so except for Portugal, generally. Spain is usually second to get them and England third.
