Hello,

Since the first launch of the game, there has been a weird radar loading screen overlay that stays on my screen. I have never seen this before until this game.
It rotates back and forth between 10 and 2 on a clock for reference.
I uninstalled and re-installed thinking that it would be that but it didn't fix anything.
I have run through the settings and see nothing that would enable this.

The screenshot is attached.

Running the game through the Xbox Game Pass and running an i7 9700k with an RTX 2080.
All drivers are up to date.

EDIT: I am running no Mods.

Let me guess, you have MSI AfterBurner active?

I have the same issue. I have MSI Afterburner, but it happens both with and without Afterburner running. I doubt it is an Afterburner overlay, because I've never seen that in a lot of years of using Afterburner.

It is driving me nuts, because it is very prominently displayed and in the way of everything on the right side of the screen. :(

Game is the xbox Game Pass version.

I knew that because we've already fixed cases of this by uninstalling that app.

Are there any MSi apps running at all?

I just shut down every running application except for my antivirus and Nvidia.

I even went through the processes in the task manager and shut down everything I could and it didn't change anything.

I found it! :) The MSI tip helped.

It's the "Sound Tracker" overlay from "Nahimic", which is supposed to be some sort of 3D sound tracker for shooters. I got rid of it by either manually starting the Nahimic app and turning it off (I think the default key combination Left Alt+1) or by uninstalling Nahimic completely (which I did in the end).

In 8 months of having this laptop, I had never seen the darn thing pop up once, and then it decided to display on CK3, out of all things. It's not even compatible with CK3, according to their webside. :D

If you google "Nahimic Sound Tracker Overlay", you'll see lots of pictures of it. Most people are tying to get rid of it, too.

Thank you, everyone!!

I did not know that Nahimic was an MSI application. I never would have guessed that the issue was related to sound. I turned off the 3d sound tracker and launched the game and it worked flawlessly.
Weird that it has never popped up for any game ever before but does for this one.
