It's Valdemar's and my privilege to announce Stroph1 as a 'semi-mod' for the EUII and HoI AAR forums.
What's that mean? It means he can take better care of the LibrAARy, it's monthly updates, and generate the OscAAR Polls that you have all come to know and love.
I think now's a good time to acknowledge all the hard work and effort that Rick has put into maintaining the vast catalogue of AARs created here and on the EUII forum.
The LibrAARY was an idea of mine hatched over a session of Milk & Cookies (tm) with the dearly departed MrT, a couple of years past. To his credit, it was T who created the first librAARy, along with some help, after months of prep work.
After his departure, Rick not only stepped up to the plate and took over the project, but expanded it into the HoI forum here.
I think it's no stretch of the imagination to realize just how much selfless time and effort Rick puts into maintaining the LibrAARY -- the new AARs, the abandonded AARs, the completed AARs -- and keep them all in a semblance of order by author and region so the forum members can enjoy easy access.
Please join me in applauding Rick's new status and his continuing great work.
