Hi all,
purchased this game yesterday, and I have a hard time to stop playing
I did 3 of the campaign missions, and then decided to go into Custom mode. Put everything on medium and off we went. Next time I'm probably going to play on a larger map, since it is a bit cramped.
I'm playing without building non-dwarven items, so anything non-dwarfish you see here has been found in the level, and manhandled up the mine by those poor little dwarves.
And finally, before we start, if you want higher quality pictures you can check them in my Steam Screenshots .
Anyways, here is the main entrance to my fort and some of my farms (p.s. anyone have any tips on how to remove the trees that fell down onto my stairs?).
Once you go inside, you enter via the main lobby with the administration office (for my imaginary trade caravans )
Moving on from there you enter the main corridor, which opens up into the central hub (on the left of the picture)
There's still quite a bit of clutter in the corridor, since I haven't built my treasure room yet. Once that is done it will look a lot better.
The (pretty pimped out) spawning pool is connected right to the central hub. This should make those new dwarlings feel welcome.
On the side of the corridor is the main mess-hall....
...which connects to the research lab. I still have to move all the mage-walls I found into the lab. I'm going to expand it a bit as well most likely (I found a really nice alchemist set that needs a nice central spot).
Here you see the library, since even dwarfs can't diggy diggy or bash in goblin skulls all day long.
The library is connected to this secondary hub.
On the other side of this hub you'll find the bathhouse. This is where the dwarfs take their annual bath. Hey, if you're not going to bathe often, you might as well bathe in style when you do
The bathhouse is also connected to the main attraction of Fort Dwarfalot, the King's chambers. Here is an overview including the vaulted ceiling.
Here is a shot of the entrance to the King's chambers
And of the throne
Behind the throne is a double entrance to the treasure room, but that's still a work in progress.
Ow yes, before I forget, a shot of my mine. It has reached the bottom level in the meantime
Thanks for watching, and thanks ZEAL and Paradox for a great game
