Today seems quiet... almost too quiet as it were. You feel a shadow begin to creep over the city, although you cannot tell how or why. Something is very strange, but you cannot tell what it is. Perhaps there is foul play going on even in the city walls... you shudder at the thought.

Day 1:
Your suspicions that some hostile involvement in Mondstadt drove tensions to a boiling point. As accusations began to be lobbed around, you eventually seized upon a Sister of the Church of Favonius, because clearly they were the ones responsible. Allegations were made that the Sister was a "robot in disguise". However, because of her holy calling, you agreed to expel her from Mondstadt forever rather than outright execute her.

Night 1:
In the night, citizens remained closed indoors as sounds of battle and flame raged in the streets of the city. However, the next morning, you discover a terrible sight- the brilliant young owner of Dawn Winery, probably the most powerful person left in Mondstadt, had been killed by assailants. To the grief of all (especially the weeping of Donna), you also learn that he was the mysterious Darknight Hero who had kept the streets of Mondstadt safe at night. However, by his body, one of the perpetrators lay dead, adorned in the outfit of the Fatui. You recognised him as someone who used to give you all drinks, but now you realise that it all comes tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down.

Dedonus the Darknight Hero and Member of the Mondstadt Wine Guild (Van Helsing and Member of the Village Council) was hunted.
EUROO7, the wealthy bartender Fatui Agent of the Fatui Pack (plotter alderman Werewolf) was slain by Dedonus.

Day 4

Despite having managed to find and eliminate the Harbinger and arrest a notorious criminal, today is a sad day for Mondstadt. You accuse the Dandelion Knight Jean, the diligent and sweet-hearted Acting Grand Master, as being treasonous and having betrayed Mondstadt. You expel her from the city admist her tears, uncertain of what she could have done to offend her people.

Chefjones the Adventurer Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius (spiritually attuned seer) was lynched

Night 4

In revenge for the killing of the Harbinger, it is clear that there is still the work of the enemy within Mondstadt. Poor Noelle, the ever dutiful maid of Favonius whom everyone was sure would be one of the greatest Knights of the next generation, is found to be missing from the city, her whereabouts unknown. Her helpful attitude and great strength will be sorely missed by the village in the days to come.

Day 5

The day was longer than expected, and you decided the only recourse you have was to target a group of unknowns. Despite one of your number having already taken out a member of the Fatui, your inclinations towards him as suspicious are not abated. So you cast him, a respected hunter from the village of Springvale out of the city together with another adventurer, who just happened to be a member of the Fatui.

Night 5

The night was full of surprises. A scuffle in the streets resulted in two deaths, although the assassin was one of these deaths. Unfortunately, the Fatui are still around, knocking out the famous Alchemist, Mona Megistus.

Final Update:

In the nick of time, the great bard Venti, secretly the Anemo Archon Barbatos disguised in mortal form, managed to deduce that in fact one of the remaining citizens was in fact an evil Fatui agent. Realising his hopeless predicament, the final Fatui agent remaining fled Monstadt, leaving it never to return. As the dust settled and the survivors gathered, the city had been saved- but at what cost? Ah well, you can discuss it over drinks of wine at the Angel's Share tavern tonight.

Thank you all for a wonderful game. Realised some balancing issues later on (and made one or possibly two mistakes), but it actually came down pretty close towards the end! It was a very active game, for which I am grateful, made it a lot better. Hope you all enjoyed it, even in its flaws!
