Werewolf Lite CCCLXXXIX: Reversal of Fortunes
While werewolves have been vilified the world over, certain individuals among the Werewolf community have helped the case of all wolf-kind by getting roles in famous movies and TV Shows. Werewolves like Jacob Black, Remus Lupin, and David Kessler have promoted the public image of werewolves in general that it has had a generally positive effect on those not involved in the public image scheme. As a result, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited a number of these werewolves to a public societal gathering to further promote their accomplishments and effect on society. However, as with most highly publicized events, there are a few individuals on the Internet who do far too much research on topics that they are far too paranoid about. Some of these Conspiracy Theorists have infiltrated the function and are intent of bringing what they see as a Scourge upon mankind to its knees.
Rules:
A maximum of seventeen (17) players can sign up. Roles shall be handed out when the game is full at the discretion of the Game Moderator (GM). After sign-ups are closed, and roles passed out, the game will proceed to a night deadline.
The game shall continue in a day/night cycle with each 24 hour period (one day and night) occurring in one update. In this period, the day time shall be consumed with debate among the villagers over whom to lynch. Sometimes the villagers may decide to target more than one of their companions, in which case a TIE can occur, and all targeted villagers will be eliminated. At night, the Conspiracy Theorists will retaliate and target one Werewolf.
The Werewolves win by eliminating all the Conspiracy Theorists, preserving their public image and discrediting the nutters. The Conspiracy Theorists win by equaling the number of Werewolves, in doing so, wiping a blight off the face of the Earth.
Roles:
Werewolves (12): Do-Gooder Werewolves who have been acting in pop culture to increase Werewolf Awareness.
Agent (1): Since Jacob Black couldn't make it to the party, he sent his Agent (portrayed by Matthew McConaghey) instead. He has an intimate knowledge of how famous people act and can easily differentiate between an actual Werewolf and a Conspiracy Theorist.
Conspiracy Theorists (4): Nutters who read too much into subtle unintentional gestures and glances; who believe everyone at this function is secretly plotting the downfall of humanity.
THE DEADLINE WILL BE AT 19:00 GMT. ANY VOTES WITH THE TIMESTAMP 18:59 WILL COUNT, ANY WITH THE TIMESTAMP 19:00 WILL NOT.
