Werewolf Meso
Welcome to Werewolf Meso. A game of lies, deception, manipulation and anarchy. Here, we change your reality and force you to view things in a manner like no other. Please, come in, have a seat, and enjoy the ride.
If you are new to the game, please read the following. Werewolf Meso is a game of survival. Your main goal, no matter your role, is to survive. There are three sides to every game. The Villagers and Seer are together on one side. The Werewolves are divided into two sides called Packs. Each side's goal is to destroy the other two. The game is played with twenty-two players. Out of these twenty-two, seven are given a special role. Six are Werewolves, and One is a Seer. The Werewolves are known to each other, but the Seer's identity is none only to himself. If the Seer's identity is revealed, the Werewolves may hunt their most dangerous enemy. If the Werewolves' identities are revealed, the village will surely lynch the monsters.
The Game is divided into two sections. Day and Night. The game begins with a Night session. During the Night, each Pack hunts one person, and the Seer may discover the role of one player. During the day, the villagers must decide who is responsible for the murder of the night past.
Every game has a special theme. To discover the theme for this game, scroll down, and let your Werewolf Journey begin...
乱 (Chaos)
Or, The Tragedy of King Lear in Feudal Japan
The Great Lord Hidetora has built a mighty empire through cunning, violence, and treachery...
...but now he grows old, ready to retire from leadership of the Ichimonji clan. He turns to his three sons to provide for him in his old age...
...but who will inherit the mantle of the Great Lord? Who will lead the Ichimonji clan...
....will it be Taro, the eldest, controlled and manipulated by his vengeful wife Lady Kaede?
...will it be Jiro, the second son, a spider himself despite the Buddhist influences of his wife Lady Sué?
...or will it be, Saburo, the third son, blunt and outspoken, the only one willing to call his father a fool?
Will these three sons live together in fraternal harmony or will the trail of bloody and blinded enemies of Great Lord Hidetora return to haunt him and his progeny?
Will a new Great Lord arise to bring order and prosperity to the people or will this become a relentless chronicle of base lust for power, betrayal of father by sons, husbands by wives, and lord by samurai...a tale of pervasive wars and ruthless murders that destroys all?

The Samurai Code
There shall be twenty-two (22) players. Special Roles will be handed out after the last person signs up.
The game will then proceed to a Night deadline.
The game is divided into two periods - night and day. For practical reasons these two periods take place at the same time, from one update till the next.
Each day, all players gather and decide to lynch one of the players - the person they think is most likely to be a werewolf. Each night, the werewolves decide who to kill. In each 24 hour period, the village will lynch, and the werewolves will hunt. The GM will reveal if a killed player is a villager, seer, or werewolf, but will not reveal the wolf's pack.
Each pack may hunt one person per night. They may also hunt the same person, or none at all. They may also hunt each other.
The villagers can try to lynch multiple people by creating a glorious, Lemeard-approved, TIE, and the werewolves can also decide not to hunt anyone at all at night. Beware of Crovaxian slips as well!
How to Achieve Honorable Victory
A werewolf pack wins if it reaches parity with the village and eliminates the other pack.
The village wins if all the wolves are dead.
The Great Lord's Samurai
(15) Samurai - sworn to defend the Great Lord, they will gladly die in a glorious TIE to preserve him (Villagers)
(3) Lord Taro's Ninja-assassins - commissioned to eliminate the Great Lord and the agents of Lord Jiro, they are as a zephyr in the storm (Alpha Pack)
(3) Lord Jiro's Ninja-assassins - commissioned to eliminate the Great Lord and the agents of Lord Taro, they are as the stars at noon (Beta Pack)
(1) The Fool, Kyoami - alone wise enough to see man's true nature, will he lead the Great Lord to a good son, or be strangled for his needling jokes? (Seer)
Feudal Etiquette
Players are strongly encouraged to role-play as characters from either Akira Kurosawa's Ran or William Shakespeare's King Lear, or from any other character in either the Japanese feudal or Shakespearean tradition. Your god will sort it out. I AM YOUR GOD.

Record of the Grand Historian
After the hunt on Night 0,
while dallying with geishas, Archdeacon Claude Frollo, a samurai, a.k.a. AOK .11 was brutally clubbed to death, and
while drinking to a young star's hunt, Lord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a samurai, a.k.a. Kingepyon was discretely poisoned.
During the trial at the First Castle on Day 1,
Iago, Lord Jiro's ninja-assassin, a.k.a. snoopdogg tripped on his rival's sword.
While preparing to leave the First Castle on Night 1,
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, a samurai, a.k.a. Najs was found dead choked
on a pair of Kintama, a samurai, a.k.a. drxav suffocated to a deep blue trapped in the throat of the Prince of Denmark.
On the way to the Second Castle during Day 2,
Sanada Yukimura, a samurai, a.k.a. Falc was handed over to the justice of Clan Toyotomi.
At the Second Castle during Night 2
while defending the Great Lord, Cyrano, a samurai, a.k.a. OrangeYoshi received an arrow through the neck, and
as he forced his way into the Second Castle, Edgar, a samurai, a.k.a. rendap was killed by a shuriken to the kidneys.
On the way to the Third Castle during Day 3,
for her inconstant whispers, Titania, the Fool, a.k.a. Adamus was gotten to a nunnery.
At the Third Castle during Night 3,
while sleeping, Napoleon, a samurai, a.k.a. Boris ze Spider was bitten by many poisonous spiders,
and while patrolling, Sir John Falstaff, a samurai, a.k.a. Najs né Malurous fell from the parapets to his death.
Before the Battle during Day 4,
while attempting to sabotage the castle defenses, Edmund, Lord Jiro's ninja-assassin, a.k.a. Napoleon XIX was immolated in an explosion.
While in Battle during Night 4,
an Ainu, Lord Jiro's ninja-assassin, a.k.a. tamius was found with two arrows stuck in his eyes,
and unable to end his life, Great Lord Hidetora, a samurai, a.k.a. EUROO7 passed beyond earthly sanity and into complete madness.
Before the Doom during Day 5,
Without a friend to defend his name, Edmund Blackadder, a samurai, a.k.a. Cakravarti exited pursued by bear.
And so Lord Taro's ninja-assassins eliminated their rivals and established Parity with the Great Lord's samurai companions.
The Doom of Hidetora
Bards would long recall the ill-fated end of the Great Lord Hidetora and his band of samurai companions:
So read the Doom of Hidetora, first Great Lord of the Ichimonji, slain by the assassins of his own son Taro.
Ran, or Chaos
The ninja-assassins of Lord Taro have eliminated their rivals and reached parity with the samurai...
...bereft of their leader, they are quickly slain.
...first, Edmund Blackadder, by the hands of his friends...
...second, Lady Kaede, her dreams of vengeance unfulfilled...
...third, Henry V, whose sacrifice on Crispian's day will be unremembered...
...fourth, Romeo, the silent lover...
...fifth, Touchstone, the Fool who thought himself Wise...
All hail the doom that comes to men, all fear the shadow that kills in the night.
The Ninja-Assassins are Victorious
Honor our dishonorable victors.
...first, Ah Q, whose double-think struck doubly twice...
...second, Lady Sué, whose gentle pacifism hid a heart of stone...
...third, Macbeth, the Scottish Play...that kills...
THE FORMS MUST BE OBEYED
Bards would long recall the ill-fated end of the Great Lord Hidetora and his band of samurai companions:
When twenty-two brave samurai came in,
with foolish arrogance he split his land,
And set against each son another kin,
Thinking him safe within his merry band.
But, Great Lord, friend and foe are dressed alike,
And three and three assassins hidden here,
Could place your wise gray head upon a pike,
While you strike down your men in panicked fear.
No refuge will you find with flesh of flesh,
Nor blood will shelter blood under the sky,
That red with all your murders made their creche,
A fitting end, by your own hand, to die.
Mad howling wolves have gnawed away the face,
That proudly slew the ancient boar he chased.
with foolish arrogance he split his land,
And set against each son another kin,
Thinking him safe within his merry band.
