I would like to see an operational level game made by Paradox. I am thinking about a HoI game but at smaller scale. Instead of giving us the whole world, give us one theater or a part of it. A bit like WitE by Matrix, but real time and with no hexes (I think provinces could do fine). It would have more “operational” components and less strategic ones.

Another idea, what about doing a XIX/XX century military simulator? (much like Gary Gisby´s TOAoW is). Again, at operational level.

What do you think?

If it would be just a cut-down version of HoI with a bit of added content in here and there - then I would pass. But if it would be clearly a new title, with PDS experience in making good UI's, fluent gameplay and good graphics added to the operational level details then it could be interesting. But could still be too niche? Most of detailed operational level games are small-budget-small sales types (as Matrix pricing policy reveals). And Paradox gamers are usually more into grand strategy.
