I just recently found that half of my 32gb of ram was corrupt and had to remove it, I've been playing with a moderate mod load-order and with that 32gb on the charters of commerce update I would start to experience hangs on game-ticks around 1900 and getting unstable around the same time (frequent crashing if I had any other programs open). Now with only 16gb I am very hard pressed to get a few years in game with the same mod-load and vanilla isn't much better. I experience less hangs but more outright crashing and I notice that if I have discord or Spotify open on my other monitor one of them will close then reopen. I have played a bit of hoi4 whilst the faulty ram was still in and it would crash with little exception after around 1 in game month, after the removal of the ram it crashes far less frequently (I have not experienced any closes or crashes of third party programs whilst playing hoi4). I experienced a fair few blue-screens whilst diagnosing my (almost certainly faulty) ram and I am wondering if these are issues commonly seen with ram problems or if it might be other problems with my pc, maybe caused by those blue-screens? I can supply a few crash dumps (both whilst the faulty ram was installed and after it was removed) for both vic3 and hoi4 too.

Sorry for Late reply, the other 16gb of ram was also faulty/corrupted. changing the paging size manually presented me with continued blue-screening on start of windows. I had a hunch it was still faulty but wanted to check with the forums if these problems were associated with the game specifically. Replacement ram solved the issues.
