Hi at all.
I'm trying to model some buildings to create a mountain style, since there is little material on the Workshop about it. But what are the mandatory dimensions of the basement to have a functional and complete style?

Many Thanks.

Thanks, and as deep, besides the square measures, there are others that should not be missing?

More variation is always better, but if we're talking about the minimum needed to work, that's it. Since the game can expand growables in depth, you don't really have to worry about that so much. As long as the one tile wide one is also just one tile deep, the game can fill in any zoned area.

Oh, one more thing actually! The sizes should be there for all levels. For example if the 3 tile wide level 1 building is 3x3, then the higher levels are needed for the same size. It can't upgrade into a 3x2 or 3x4.

For a nice amount of variation in buildings, you will typically want more than the minimum needed. I would go for 80-100 for residential and 50-70 for the other zones. But first step is just getting the minimum amount needed for a functioning style. :)

I always wondered why the buildings had decorations on the sides but nothing to close the courtyard behind. Now I understand why :-D
Thanks a lot for the info.

A last question. I thought, for the levels, to use the same house with different decorations (or small changes to the model) Is there any trick to make a house level up with the improved version of itself?
