What happened?

I downloaded 1.06 patch. I'm in the middle of a game (after several hours I might add), and all of a sudden, my war support starts dropping. One percent. Every hour. Until my war support is (get this) -100%.

What gives?

I was playing the US. It happened directly after the 1940 election. I choose to stay with Roosevelt. Europe was completely at war.
