What have I done wrong? Patch won't install

When I try to install the patch 1.03 it says that I don't have EU2 installed on my computer. I've tried to reinstall it on different drives but it doesn't work. I'm running w2k sp2. I suppose it has something to do with the registry not being written to or something. Shortcuts aren't made on the start menu either.

Anyone who has had the same problem?
 
if you have the scandinavian version, use the patch on Paradox web site, if you have the US version, use the link on SF web site.

Check the thread on top of the forum "Latest patch".
