What is a clan???

I’ve come to the MP only recently and I was wondering what is exactly a clan? Maybe a really stupid question but I couldn’t find.

Is it a group of players who often play together, a team which challenges the other clan, a place where you can find people to play MP ? …

Can I just create one as long as there are people willing to join ? or do I have to fulfill certain rules ?

You can make your own, but any smart newbie to the clan world would join the BUB clan. I am willing to make you leader of the European division.

I will use this opprtunity to ask as well: Exactly what do you clans do except for annoy each other? And what does all your titles mean - if anything? I went to the clan forum once, and all I could find was people throwing mud at eachother and something about hacking eachothers pages...

They aren't what they used to be. We haven't had clan games in a long time. The most active clan is SL which is only for Swedes and spends so much time on the forums they most likely don't have time to play the game . Most of the clan activity (or at least for BUB anyway) goes on outside of the forums.
