I have been trying for a while to debug a large collection of mods, getting it to actually run was somewhat difficult but that seemed to be the easy part. Currently the game crashes randomly after 30ish minutes in, at random, so it is hard to find if disabling a mod fixed anything. Is there a better way to do this? I heard about the validator but it seems to be for single mod debugging only.

Try adding "log" in the head of effect entry of every event you want to debug. It sounds stupid but there's no method to generate a solid crash report.
Vanilla error.log and exception.log give you nothing useful.

You can also filter target event by MTTH and year...etc.
I've once ruined new crusade stuff and make game random CTD around year 900~1000. And experience tells me something wrong with crusade events and that's is.
