Some soccer manager game on the C64 that I'd gotten for Christmas.

It was black text on a green background and on one side of the cassette! Was football and the other side was rugby but they were the same game really.

That's the earliest I remember anyway.

I'm not sure.
The most likely candidate is Super Mario Bros.
That's at least the first game I owned.

I think pacman or space invaders but I can't remember. I certainly played games before that but none of the fancy video variety that I remember.

Board game wise Snakes and Ladders probably

Computer wise Civ 1 on my Atari STE

Damnnnn, man. I remember Civ 1. I was too young to really understand what I was doing but I still have a snapshot memory of sending out boats across the seas and discovering new people's and just how incredible that felt to me at the time.

Definitely sparked that interest in exploration and discovery in strategy games, and all games, that I keep to this day.

Either GTA Vice City or the first Mafia, maybe NFS Underground 2.

For me it was a game called nomad on a zx spectrum. Can still sing along to the theme song now lol.

God I'm so old

It was one of these, can't recall which was the exact one.

- Road Rash
- Need for Speed 2
- Prince of Persia, the first one
- a flash game of Hangman, featuring a fox
- Super Mario Bros on one of the NES clones my mom used to own
- Tetris, on a cheap console

Also, a peculiar game called eRacer. In fact that may have been my very first one.

I didn't have a PC back then. It was all at my relatives' and friends' homes.

Road Rash was the bees balls!

I see there's an updated version of it on Steam, haven't played it, and sadly it has some mixed reviews, but it's nice to see a badass idea getting a reboot.

My very first game was Tigger's honey hunt for N64. I was like 4, and my family was pretty anti videogame

I was (and am still) pretty young, but my first videogame was Super Mario 64.

I'm pretty sure my mother still thinks video games are the spawn of Satan, so that was fun.

First Video Game: Pong
First Computer Game: Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?
First Strategy Boardgame: Avalon Hill's Battle of the Bulge
First Paradox Game: Europa Universalis 1 (2001)
